Aimersoft Free YouTube Downloader is an online video downloader for Windows. The application offers a simple way to save your favorite YouTube videos to your computer and watch them offline. It enables you to download videos of standard and high quality, and also entire playlists.

Downloading videos is easy with this application and be done in two ways. If you click on the icon that says “Online Video”, you can access YouTube through the program’s built-in browser and look for the video you wish to save. Clicking the button in the right corner brings up a menu to select the quality that you want to download your video in. This version of the application allows you download HD content, including 1080p, 4K Ultra HD, as well as HTML5 video. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the URL of your desired YouTube video in the Download tab and the application will do the rest of the work for you.

While Aimersoft Free YouTube Downloader is free and effective, it is quite limited compared to the full version. It works only as a video downloader and lets you download one video at a time. With the unlocked version, you get a number of extra features, which include being able to download video from your favorite streaming sites like Hulu and Vimeo, converting downloaded videos to formats compatible for mobile hardware, the possibility of downloading multiple videos at once, and accelerated download speed.

In short, Aimersoft Free YouTube Downloader is easy to use, has a nice interface, and is an efficient YouTube downloader. However, its most interesting features are only available in the full version.
